Our mission is to help vulnerable people to live with dignity in their own homes.
We achieve this by supporting the work of local home improvement agencies to help people keep their homes safe, secure and in good repair.
The Fast Track Hardship Fund has been operating since 2003. It helps people who, for the want of small sums of money to improve or adapt their homes, are either at risk of illness, accident, and hospital admission, or cannot get home from hospital or residential care. It pays for building work, essential items, equipment and services. The fund is administered by Foundations, the national body for home improvement agencies.
In 2008, the fund opened up to all home improvement agencies in England, enabling us to reach even more vulnerable people.
