Details of the DFG allocations for 2011/12 have been announced on the DCLG website.
The total funding has increased from £169m to £180m. All authorities will receive at least as much as they received last year. The £11m extra funding available has been allocated in line with a new relative needs weighted index developed by the Building Research Establishment. Some authorities have seen gains of up to 37%.
