Foundations is the national body for Home Improvement Agency (HIA) and Handyperson Services and is delivered on behalf of DCLG by the CEL Group.
Nearly 90% of local authorities across England have a recognised HIA provision.
Taken together, HIAs handle around 240,000 enquiries a year from vulnerable individuals (or their families/carers) largely concerning the opportunities to sustain independent living in their own home.
A vacancy has arisen in the leadership team of Foundations to lead on Policy Communications, Impact and Sector Analysis activities.
The role will involve:
- Leading a small but strategically important team in Foundations
- Delivering consistently high levels of customer service to our clients and also our funding department (DCLG) within government
- Applying your skills to understand, interpret and take action on underlying data trends
- High levels of effective communication
- Using your business acumen to maximise the "return" on the resources at your disposal.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate relevant ability, skills and experience.
