Bringing the sector together, stimulating debate

National Handyperson Conference

Wednesday 24 March 2010 - Royal College of Physicians, Regent's Park, London

This fully booked event, funded by the Home Office and Communities and Local Government, celebrated the achievements of handyperson services so far and debated the next steps in the development of handyperson services nationally. The event covered a wide range of topics, with thought-provoking plenary sessions and 11 different workshops for delegates to choose from.

Lord Bill McKenzie (Communities and Local Government) launched the Handyperson Financial Benefits Toolkit at the conference. This toolkit, commissioned by Communities and Local Government and developed by Cassiopeia Consultancy, is designed to help users create a business case for handyperson services. You can find out more about the toolkit and the guidance on how to use it in the handyperson services pages of our website.
