The Handyperson Services future HIA report sets out the benefits of handyperson services, provides practical guidance on commissioning such services, and gives home improvement agencies examples of different arrangements for operating services.

This sample handyperson funding calculation illustrates the typical costs involved in the delivery of a handyperson service consisting of one full-time handyperson technician post and one part-time administrative support post of 20 hours per week. The model also includes a management charge for line management input, office overheads and so on.
