TrustMark

Introduction to TrustMark

TrustMark Logo

TrustMark is a national, government-backed trade registration scheme which now includes handyperson services within its validation framework.

Foundations is the national scheme operator for TrustMark validation. As such Foundations can now offer TrustMark validation to home improvement agencies either alone or as part of the National HIA Quality Mark, and to third-sector handyperson services via the National Handyperson Quality Mark.

In order to undergo TrustMark validation, a service must agree to:
• keep to the conditions of use for the TrustMark logo
• agree to have some of their handyperson jobs inspected by Foundations, and
• have a customer complaints procedure which is known to their customers and which says that Foundations will arbitrate in any dispute or complaint the handyperson provider is not able to resolve.
