Foundations has developed an excellent reputation across social housing for its delivery of Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) training. Our courses can be accessed through the Foundations Open Training Programme, but the majority of our customers choose to have this training delivered in-house. Our training is delivered over one or two days, depending upon the level of competence that is required from practitioners.
A one-day course designed to give you a thorough understanding of the principles and process behind the HHSRS and the skills needed to inspect properties and identify the presence of any of the 29 hazards set out in the HHSRS. To enable you to carry out HHSRS assessments with the required levels of consistency and accuracy, you will be required to undertake a programme of self study following the training session. The materials required for that self study will be provided at the end on the training session.
A one day workshop designed to provide your organisation with an assurance that those delegates who attend the HHSRS: inspection and assessment course fully understand the assessment process, and are in practice undertaking HHSRS assessments with the appropriate levels of accuracy and consistency. At this workshop, delegates will submit HHSRS assessments carried out on three properties. Following scrutiny and feedback, if those assessments have been carried out to the required levels of accuracy, the delegate will be given a Certificate of Professional Competence.
