Each year the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities publishes the amount of grant funding that will be distributed to Housing Authorities across England. Funding has increased significantly since the introduction of the Better Care Fund in 2016/17.

DFG Allocations 2011 – 2025
The current allocations formula was developed by the Building Research Establishment, published in February 2011. People at the Heart of Care: adult social care reform white paper announced that there will be a public consultation on revising the allocations formula in 2022.
