Timothy English

Timothy English is a seasoned professional with a strong background in housing, regeneration, and social services. Holding qualifications such as a Fellowship from the Chartered Institute of Housing, Timothy’s leadership and management skills are widely recognised.

In his role as a Regional Advisor at Foundations, he provides training and consultancy support to Local Authorities in the West Midlands and South West region on housing-related matters. With extensive experience across four Greater Manchester Councils, Timothy has spearheaded housing apprenticeship schemes and led strategic initiatives for supported housing and homelessness prevention services. Notably, he successfully managed England’s largest sheltered and extra care housing PFI contract and has overseen significant capital housing-led regeneration programs. Additionally, he has played a key role in managing adult social care contracts during the pandemic period.

Timothy’s dedication extends beyond his professional endeavours; he has volunteered for ten years as a group scout leader and serves as Vice Chair of Trustees for his local Mind. As an Associate, he teaches and assesses the Chartered Institute of Housing Professional Qualification, contributing to the development of senior housing managers and the next generation of professionals in the field.
