Yasmeen Hussein

About

Yasmeen began her journey with Foundations as an intern, researching how local authorities support people with dementia to remain in their homes. She then stayed with Foundations as a Policy Executive and expanded her interest in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.

After completing her MA Dissertation on how diversity operates in local government relative to the Disabled Facilities Grant, she joined the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Team at the London Borough of Harrow.

She has now rejoined Foundations, as a Regional Advisor for London and the South East. Based in London, she especially enjoys reviewing local housing assistance policies to ensure inclusivity for all and problem-solving to promote meaningful outcomes.

Outside of her professional life, Yasmeen finds joy in cooking, hitting the gym, and spending quality time with friends and family.
