Public Transport and Reduced Travel

  • Public Transport: We prioritise the use of public transport wherever possible. This helps reduce our reliance on personal vehicles, lowering our carbon emissions.
  • Online Meetings: We encourage online meetings whenever practicable. Video conferencing tools have become integral to our operations, reducing the need for travel and minimising our environmental impact.

  • Conference Venues: Picking venues within walking distance of a mainline railway station can further save 3-4 tonnes of carbon emissions each year.
  • Carbon Offsetting: Partnering with verified carbon offsetting projects to neutralise unavoidable emissions, offsetting approximately 10 tonnes per year.

  • Digital Material: Shifting to digital materials for training and events can save 0.2-0.5 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
